Imperial Sends Their Appreciation

Another fantastic day for the band yesterday, the sun shone bright and the bands played brilliantly.

Massive thanks to our friends from Young Carson’s Volunteers, Greengairs Thistle and Pride of the Raven for supporting us on the parade, and to the Pride of the North, Bootle and Johnston’s True Blues for joining us at our function, along with the members of other local bands who came along to support the night. We appreciate the effort and expense to come and make our 30th Anniversary the success it was.

Old friendships strengthened and new ones forged, it’s great to see the band community in such good spirits.

Thanks also go to the lovely Diane Doyle for once again getting us around the route safely, and to the marshalls and the 2 lovely ladies from Merseyside Police who accompanied us hopefully they enjoyed the excellent music.

Huge thanks go to our DJ and compare for the day, Alan Jones. Absolutely fantastic as always, and did the whole day on only a couple of hours sleep with arriving home late from Scotland. Absolute superstar.

Last but not least a massive thank you to everyone who came along to watch the parade, support the function and bought raffle tickets, there were some happy winners last night.

All in all another hugely enjoyable and successful day for everyone. Thanks again, the planning for next year begins tomorrow.
