“Saturday, March 10 will see Burnside Orange Hall become the venue to host an evening with the ulster Scots experience and supporting band Sir George White Memorial.
“The forum wish to notify readers of that the proposed parade for Antrim town on Wednesday, March 7 will still go ahead and that the only change to the proposals is the actual parade route.
“Friday evening saw Crumlin Young Loyalists host their latest heat of battle of the bands and it involved two local outfits competing with other bands.
“THIS week we look at events planned for the local area this weekend and the coming weeks as well as tuition classes which are being made available by local bands/groups in the area thanks to financial assistance from the Ulster Scots Agency.
“THE Indoor Season now is well underway and with local bands participationg in competitions and others hosting their own events, Bandscene will do its best to keep you up to date with everything that is happening.
“The Veterans continue the year getting out and about when they can and most recently they attended Ballymoney to support Dunloy Accordion in their annual parade.
“The Wee Blue Army have had a busy and eventful first half to their marching season having attended just under 50 engagements to date the remainder of their diary is also pretty full with over 20 more to take part in before the end of the season.
