Apprentice Boys of Derry fly St Patrick’s Cross during city-centre parade

The Apprentice Boys St Patrick’s Day parade passing Ferryquay Gate on Saturday.

The Apprentice Boys of Derry paraded in the city on St Patrick’s Day, flying the cross of the island’s patron saint.

Their parade travelled from the The Fountain through the old city up to St Columb’s Cathedral where a short service was held, before returning the same route.

There was also short parade in the Waterside in the afternoon at Bonds Street.
